If they weren't still alive and kicking, Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon would have to roll over in their graves at the sight of Melek Yargıcı and entrepreneur-businessman Özgür Atamer playing modern-day Beach Blanket Bingo in Bodrum last week!
(Note: Bodrum is one of Turkey's favorite Aegean coastal resorts) Melek Hanım only met Özgür Bey after she'd arrived in Türkbükü (Bodrum), where she'd chosen to vacation on her own... The two hit it off right away, and before you could say 'my place or yours' -- they'd rented a yacht and were exploring the romantic sea coves around Bodrum. Once they'd settled on the secluded cove they liked the best, Melek Hanım and Özgür Bey began to pitch some serous woo on the rented boat's deck -- which they mistook to be their private bedroom, apparently. And, as you can see from the photos in the mini-article above, they didn't take any notice of the Turkish paparazzi, who clicked and whirred away furiously with their still and video cameras, until the couple finally decided to lift anchor and head home.

"Making love on the sea," said Melek Hanım upon her return to dry land, "is the most beautiful thing to be doing in this heat..."
